Launch CEO Ray Walia was invited as a speaker at the Sinerjiga Conference in Serbia. Sinergija is one of the largest and most influential conferences dedicated to digital transformation in the SEE region. Watch the highlight video featuring Ray along with other speakers and more.

The trade mission to Serbia led to a workshop on ‘Global Expansion for Balkan Tech Companies via Canada’ in partnership with The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Embassy of Canada in Serbia with over 40 executives and government officials. Watch now.

Our partners at Immigrant Services Society of BC (ISSofBC) invited Sam Chan, VP of Programs at Launch as a guest speaker for their Business Club Meeting to cover ‘Strategic Approaches to Digital Transformation’ and empower business owners to digitize their operations.

VP of Programs at Launch, Sam Chan was invited by Launch alumni Raphaël Titsworth-Morin, CEO, Éphémère Creative on their ‘Small Tech Podcast’. In the podcast, Sam reveals why ‘problem obsession’ rather than ‘solutions-oriented’ is key in the startup scene. Watch here.

Member & Alumni Milestones

We love celebrating the successes of our community members.

Launch alumni and good friends at KOHO raised $86M last year, with an overall valuation of approximately $800M. Recently, KOHO has been accepted into Phase II of OSFI’s bank license process meaning they are in the process of becoming a bank in Canada! Read more.

Congrats to Launch alumni James Clift, Founder, Durable for raising $14 million in Series A financing. To date, his startup has raised over $20.25 million. Durable is now looking to become a full-stack “business in a box” platform for service-based entrepreneurs. Learn more.
