Launch Builders Demo Night Returns: A Packed Evening of Innovation at Global Relay Space

Launch Builders Meetup, November 19, 2025

After more than a year-long pause, Vancouver’s founders, innovators, and tech enthusiasts gathered once again on November 19, 2025, for a new edition of Launch Builders Demo Night — this time hosted at the Global Relay Space in Gastown.

The Launch Builders Meetup is all about giving Vancouver’s tech builders and entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase what they’re creating, discover what others are building, and connect with a community of like-minded innovators. As always, the lineup featured six demo presentations — including two presenters from Launch alumni.

From a collaboration tool for distributed teams and an AI copilot for makers, to an AI-powered therapeutic companion designed to support mental wellness, the night brought together products at the intersection of software, AI, and human-centered innovation.

Spotlight on Presenters

Ashutosh Tiwari, ekai

People often describe Ashutosh as a curious designer trapped in an engineer’s body, wearing a salesman’s attire. He’s worked in remote setups since 2015.

How we work has changed twice since the pandemic, yet most teams are still juggling the same tools, leading to overload and wasted time. That insight led Ashutosh to start ekai, a private note-taker built to simplify how distributed teams stay aligned without wasting hours updating status across tools.

Javier Arroyo Ferrer, Caffeine AI

Javier Arroyo Ferrer is a Partner at Quantum Leap Labs, North America’s first venture studio helping founders and startups build, deploy, and scale on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP).

Javier is working on Caffeine AI, a generative platform that transforms human intent into running code—instantly. Built on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), it allows anyone to create and deploy intelligent, autonomous web services that run entirely on-chain, with no cloud dependencies.

Lionello Lunesu, Defang Software Labs

Lionello Lunesu is a successful repeat founder and true full-stack engineer with 25+ years in technology.

At Launch Builders, he showcased Defang Software Labs, one of our Launch alumni companies — an AI-enabled DevOps agent that makes deploying applications ridiculously simple. With a single command, developers can deploy agentic applications (in any language or framework) to AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, and more.

Denys Malykhin, Embedible

Denys Malykhin is the founder of Embedible — an AI copilot for makers that automatically generates wiring diagrams and microcontroller code.

A principal engineer by background, Denys has led product teams at Workday, Airbnb, Meta, and McKinsey & Company. He’s passionate about blending AI, creativity, and electronics to make hardware accessible for everyone.

Taric Andrade, Clarity Path

Taric is a human-centered systems leader, engineer, and a proud Launch alum. Drawing on his experience founding ClickSitter (Closed) and his personal journey with anxiety, Taric is building Clarity Path, a privacy-first, on-device AI therapeutic companion that guides users through a four-stage wellness journey.

The app pairs evidence-based CBT/DBT techniques with personalized, device-local AI suggestions, daily check-ins, and guided exercises — all ad-free and built in Canada.

Nathan Ngai, Arkhet

Nathan has over a decade of experience building products, specializing in product discovery and experimentation.

Frustrated by how AI is often used to replace human creativity rather than enhance it, he founded Arkhet, a platform that helps product teams translate intent into interactive prototypes by mirroring how builders actually think. Arkhet reimagines software design by empowering humans to build with clarity and purpose.

This sold-out event drew a full house of builders, early adopters, product thinkers, and curious community members — all eager to ask questions, offer feedback, and connect over new ideas. The energy in the room was a reminder of why Launch Builders Demo Nights matter: they bring people together, spark collaborations, and celebrate the growing momentum of Vancouver’s tech community.

The next edition of Launch Builders will take place on February 25, 2026. Ticket sales open on January 21st — stay tuned!
