Spotlight on Presenters
Michael Yagudaev, AudiowaveAI
Michael is passionate about building products for designers and engineers. His last startup achieved $10K MRR within 12 months and was successfully sold to his co-founder. Currently, Michael is embracing a new challenge: building 52 startups in 52 weeks to find the next big idea.
Michael built AudiowaveAI to listen to an e-book as an audiobook using AI. He posted about it online and it turned out that a lot of people wanted to do the same.
Steve Pineau, Gloocel Innovations Inc.
Steve has been recognized as an expert in security systems. Before Gloocel, he was the CEO of Viscount Systems Inc. as well as the founder of Blue Mountain Technologies Inc.
Gloocel Direct to Cloud reduces the cost of building access by up to 80% by using a mobile app to eliminate the need for traditional security hardware, including keyfobs and intercom systems. Clients pay a monthly SaaS fee based on 5 year renewable contracts.
Tobias Dunn-Krahn, Atono
Tobias is passionate about creating environments where everyone can contribute to innovation and work together to build the best products.
He co-founded Atono to change the accepted status quo—and bring back the universal truth that people build better software together. Atono’s BHAG (big, hairy, and very audacious goal) is to become the most widely used platform to plan, build, run, and improve software.
Jacob Shadbolt, IcePanel
Jacob is the co-founder and lead designer of IcePanel (YC W23), an interactive diagramming tool for software architects to design and plan. As a team of five making $160k MRR, the IcePanel team are looking for more passionate builders to join them.
Kip Warner, Cartesian Theatre (CT), will present Helios
Kip is a Vancouver based software engineer and founder of CT. He is co-chairman of the OpenPOWER Foundation’s AI Special Interest Group and holds a BSc in AI. CT is partnered with Nvidia, IBM, Amazon, RISC-V International, UBC, OVHcloud, and others.
Helios is a universal music discovery engine developed in-house by CT. The recently patented technology can be integrated into virtually anything from online music stores, record label sync-licensing, and IoT, to streaming services.
Procheta Nag, Polymuse
Procheta is a seasoned tech entrepreneur with a passion for building innovative products across industries. As the co-founder of Joystick Lab, she is currently pioneering 3D business solutions with the flagship product, Polymuse.
Creating high-quality 3D models for e-commerce is typically expensive and time-consuming. Polymuse turns iPhones into powerful 3D scanners, creating AR-ready models in minutes without specialized equipment. By integrating the AR assets for virtual try-ons, businesses can potentially boost conversion rates by up to 250%.
