Heli is designed to work in sync with Canada’s Startup Visa program. The program serves as your landing pad, offering all the resources needed to overcome challenges in expanding your business in a new market and rooting your family in Canada.
*Letter of support will only be provided upon completion of company deliverables.
*Participation in Maple or Heli does not guarantee approval for Permanent Residency and/or Work Visa under the Startup Visa Program. Approval is at the sole discretion of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship of Canada.
*Program fee is subject to change, does not include applicable taxes, legal, immigration and settlement fees that are incurred outside of our program and is not correlated to the success and failure of the company’s immigration status, but rather to the services provided.
GET YOUR CANADIAN STARTUP VISA THROUGH LAUNCH’S HELI PROGRAM
Initial Heli candidate requirements:
– Must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, technology, or a related field
– Professionals with previous startup or tech industry experience
– Business currently at ideation or pre-revenue stage
– Founders interested in incorporating their startup in Canada
– Minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5 in English
– A comprehensive step-by-step guide designed to help you turn your idea into a thriving business. It will help you create and execute your roadmap for growth while leveraging the stability and opportunities offered by operating as a Canadian company.
– Private workshops on immigration, incorporation in Canada, transferring IP to Canada, and more.
– Lifestyle and landing pad support for your team members and their families, including banking, insurance, education, and housing information.
– Guidance and support through your company’s immigration needs, including connections to the most experienced business immigration experts in Canada with extensive experience working with tech startups in North America and a strong understanding of the Heli Program and the Startup Visa Program.
– Business matchmaking for your company’s needs and access to Traction webinars bringing leaders from Google, Shopify, Uber and top-tier VCs.
– Get a better understanding of the fundraising environment in North America by attending fundraising workshops and accessing our fundraising repository (Non-dilutive sources of funding in Canada and Fundraising in North America).

The Heli Program is a 12-month program broken down into multiple categories each designed to provide you with information, resources, and tools to support your business creation and prepare your company for establishment in Canada.
Unlike other accelerator programs, Launch takes 0% equity in your company. Instead, there is a program fee starting at $28,000 over 12 months (plus applicable taxes, legal, immigration, and settlement fees that are incurred outside of our program). Fees are broken down into 12 monthly payments of $2,350 throughout the program and will provide access to Heli.
